so are you saying that its not a worth it to go carb. or if i go carb in still left with the cooling advantage? when you say effort and money where would i be wasteing these to things by goin carb. im just trying to get the fact and info i need to make a decision rither or not to buy it. the reason i was thinking of using this block for carbiration is that it is only a bare block. so therefore i would have to get all th FI part for it

i did search for some time but couldn't find a anwser i was thinking of buying a lt1 bare block. now i know that lt1's come with fuel injecton. but i could built the motor to be crabed correct. and is there any problem with doing this. new to the v8 world please bare with me

who out there are using KYB shocks or knows how they perform. found some for cheaping and was thinking of getting set of 4. with some lowering springs. are they any better than the stock 260 set up? -
im think of buying a block from a local shop. was told that a few cylinders have a water spot.,and wall has a little rough spot that can't be honed out. would it be a bad idea to sleave the walls? or is there any other ways that i can fix it

terry i remember seeing your car on the OLD hybridz fourm. think to myself i have to get on of those cars. your z is the car that us other z drivers dream of built. (not to say that the other z'x on this site aren't nice.0 but terry damn. looks like the work have paid off many times over

the car looks great. im at the same stage you are man and i know you felt good whn you saw the finished product on that wheel wheel. i have a question for you and any others. has any one used the por-15 engine paint kit before. http://www.por15.com/product.asp?productid=319 is so how was if. also john what kit did you get from por-15 to do your wheel wells and bay? looking to do the same thing in a few weeks. wish me luck

yet another welcome. you should be able to find all z info on this site. the folks here have been very helpful to me in the past. question.. where did you get that hood "scoop" i been wanting on like that .i was goin was goin to make one but if i can save the time then i will buy one. does anyone know where to get that hood from?

i have never heard of this, but a friend of mine put five or so big magnets on the bottom of his oil pan to keep all the metal composets together at the bottom of the pan. i thought it was a great idea ive just never heard of have even thought about it. he said there has a HUGE decrese in the amount of metal in his oil any thought?

THANKS (rpms) im goin to do your carpet idea.if you say its good an will save me some cash im all for it. any where here in dallas sale it that you can recommend? but why only do it to the rear deck,just b/c its not moded? well thanks again ill try to get some pics off the seats and the door panel color so you guys can see for yourselves

i arizona z car is making a fiberglass g nose that looks great . i dont know if theyt have released prices yet. so you might want to hold out on getting one. b/c maybe they will have a better price

nice i know the feeling i just picked my block up last week from the machine shop. ya i also need everything for the swap ebay is a great place to get parts cheaps. so keep us posted on how the swap is coming along

just got a 240z and it has a grayish / light blue seats and door panels. im looking for some carpet for the car and i only see black or tan. does anyone know what color carpet came with the car from the factory to match these seats.
