jeffer949 what grit sandpaper did you use? Do you think a higher grit would prevent the sanding through the edges issue?

After looking at the pics id like to know who did roll on and who did spray on, I'm starting to get near this point (knock on wood)

I have a sbc set back as far as I sent it back, It clears the tunnel completely! even allowing space to run trans cooler lines, and a dipstick! Its a tight fit but not as bad as you would think and its hides at least level if not a tad bit higher then stock frame rails.

I have a Turbo 400 in my 75 It fits snug and needs no mods to the trans tunnel to fit. However it does present a problem as far as exhaust routing is concerned.

Not to get too far off track but ,I dont know a huge amount about suspension's but why the leafspring insted of coil springs on the c5/6?

Would solder provide me with a good long term fix?

As I was disassembling my Headlight Combo switch one of the contact plates fell out. Upon further inspection I found out why. The retaining clips located on the that hold the toggling contact plate in place was damaged and it was missing one of the vertical "restraints/pins". Now I cannot reassemble the switch because the plate will just continue to fall out, is there any way to replace/repair the metal base that plate sits on?

Thanks I hope this solves my indicator light problems, because if it does my Z will be back on the road after 3 years!

Here is my current situation I am running an ez21 harness and have everything in the car up and running however I have run into a few issues. I was wondering if anybody has run into any of these before or if anybody has any tips. I’ve got my test light out, and I am also checking my grounds, but am I missing something? Does the lack of an ammeter in place affect the following? Horn works Turn signals work but I don’t see the indicators on the tach working Headlights do not work and when engaged they cause the blue green wire which is wired up per sparkys instructions melt the wires at the combo switch This is just for reference these are from Sparky. ( I would like to thank him for these instructions and would like to say in no way am in blaming him or flaming him for any problem the problem was created by me! Thanks for the info Sparky!) Green/Blue --------> Red 33 Switch power *** note the red 33 splits into red and black, Connect black side to Green/Blue No seeing as the red 33 is a large 12 ga wire I was going to just swap it for my hazard wire as I don’t run hazard lights and it is a lower voltage. However this is a list of Reverse lights do work Brake lights do not work Parking brake indicator does work. When combo switch is switched into driving lights mode all running lights work except for brakes and headlights. And then the blue green wire blows threw the fusible link. My ammeter isn’t hooked up currently High beam indicator does not work neither do the high beams.

Sounds like a nice setup you have. Does the brace replace the mains, or act as a support for them? It seems as if most braces completely replace the mains. Can't wait to see it up and running.

Raami could you provide us with a writeup on how you constructed this? How did you form your template? What thickness is the material and how did you machine it ie cnc mill ect? Also how have you adjusted your oil pickup to work, im assuming that this adds a bit of space between the pan and block and may throw off pickup location? btw great work!

How do you plan to route this fuel line?

Are you going to swap the rear end also? (it is an irs iirc?)

I had a friend who had one. I rember somthing on it broke and he could never find the part to fix it, nobody had it no nissan ebay or anything. I wish I rembered what that part was. Other then that it was great when it ran.
