hey im interested in a lt1/4l60e swap in an 81-83 280zx. Does anyone make headers for the 280zx yet? If not what should I do for exhaust manifolds? Also do you know if there are any kits out there to install the lt1 in the 280zx? I searched the basic swap site jagsthatrun, johns ect but I was just curious if there were any more. I'm asking for info on peoples particular swap so please, please don't leave me a million "search" responses. thanks in advance

yeah I know them he already answered my question about the 700r4! I'm trying to decide between a 280zxT or a 240 z. the 240 is lighter but the 280 has alot of creature comforts and stuff

lol I'll be checking this out too...I have a complete turbo regal, so half my troubles are over and this should cut my costs down. but I still have parts to scavage

the lc2 is the motor from and 84-87 grand national...turboed fuel injected blah, blah the 700r4 is a standard auto tranny overdrive found in the 80's firebird and camros

any feed back would be nice?

hey I have a question for you guys that maybe no one else has thought of regarding the lc2 swap in a s30 chassis dstsun! jags-that-runs sells a kits to put the chevy v8/700r4 auto tranny in the datsun...they also sell all kinds of coolant stuff like radiators ect. since they sell the tranny mounts and all the stuff to drop in a 700r4 wouldn't it be easier to run the 700r4 tranny with a tci adapted plate to the lc2? then all you would have to do is fabricate motor mounting rite? just an idea?

Who sells fender flares like that? That z is bad! as far as price break down what do ya think this guy spent in parts? what kinda tranny and rear end is he running? isn't the q45 auto? I would love to do something like this but the q45 engine alone would set me back a few g's not to mention all the custom parts needed! But its nice how he kept it all nissan!
