  1. Hey Josh, I remember you. I talked to you breifly at the MSA show. I had no idea you where running the 300 ECU. You guy's make it sound so easy when rewiring it. All the post I've read on installing the z31 ecu sounded like a nightmare. Just curious can you put a Jim wolf chip in there even thou the chip original programed for a 300zxt car?
  2. Got this from zdriver....
  3. SleeperZ, I knew you had the z31 ecu but didn't know how you approached it. Just curious, what mods are you running on your car? Injectors size, turbo size, how much boost, fuel pressure etc?
  4. What I just witness a 240Z using a 300ZXT ECU and 300ZXT MAS with all the L28ET Hardware and wiring harness. I know, sounds like a Jim Wolf setup. WRONG... The only modifications done are on the 300ZXT ECU, grounding one of the pins on the 300ZX MAS and connecting the fuel pump directly to battery. No mods to the harness nor distributor or the fuel injection wires. NOTHING disconnected execpt for the one wire that goes from the relay to the fuel pump which now is powered directly by the battery. Although he didn't drive the car I notice the car was much more responsive and idled a lot better then before. Idle was never an issue but just seems more quieter now.
  5. I tried at home last night and nothing happens. I'm at work and it does work here either. Using Explorer 5.5 & 6
  6. You should have asked him what cams he was using =) Actually I use to be a rotory head before I got into the Z's and are solgan was "I rather be a rotor then be pist-on" I spent a total of $1500 brand new performance parts on my RX7 which was enough to get me 13.7 in the quarter. Rotory's are known for cheap HP meaning doesn't take much to make them fast. Unfortunately they break easy. I'm not sure how reliable the 4 rotors are, but I would think about how are you going to get replacement parts and find a mechanic who knows how to work on them if it breaks internally.

Sorry Jon, that was my fault. I spelled Ron's last name Taylor instead of Tyler on the email I sent you.
  8. Looks sweet, can take a closer picture. Kinda of hard to see the details.
  9. Jason, I'm interested in the full chrome moly cage if you part the car out. Possibly the tubular rear control arms. Can you send me pics on the cage? rsotto@attbi.com Thanks in Advance,

Cool, do ya think we can do the same setup on mine?
  11. Mike, Have they told you how to break in? Just curious because to break them in for a Mits Eclipse FWD, you have to do 5-10 burn outs in a row before both wheels starts grabbing. BTW you only have to do it once. I guess the fun part will be breaking them in if it's the same way. I heard all positive feed backs on the DSM Forums.
  12. Here's a turbo for a Skyline. I thought they were going to a single turbo but NO.... Check out the movies on this beast http://www.exvitermini.com/mr33.htm

Are you talking about the strap? If so I like what ScottieGNZ did with his. I think I need to do the same thing. My drive shaft (at the yok) hits the top of the hand brake linkage hard when I get on it. http://zdriver.com/members/scottiegnz/diff-strap.jpg
  14. Bill, You make it sound so simple. I'm going to email you for more info if you don't mind. Much Thanks!
  15. James, Thanks for the Tech Info for the Viscous swap. Should be fun finding the parts.
  16. Just wondering, can Jon put his 3.5X gears from r180 in his r200?
  17. Hey, Can I borrow that dream when your done with it.
  18. Wow, thanks for the kind words. I don't remember but did I pay you to say that?
  19. I always park far to make sure there's no one to next to my car. If I get back and there's a car the first thing I check if there's a door ding. If there is then all HELL IS GOING TO BREAK LOOSE. Isn't it funny how you park far and as soon as you see a car parked next to you, you start to feel the anger build up as you come closer.
  20. I heard the people who put the Z32TT engine in the Z had a hard time. Sounds like the RB would be easier to put in. But then like someone mention, if something breaks that part is not available right away. To have the power of the RB, it's worth waiting for the part the breaks.
  21. Jon, I was lucky the car already came with the r200 rear diff so I didn't have to do anything. I did do research on it when I was going to do the swap on my other Z that I got rid of. I'm going to email BigJim for the parts. He can find them cheap and sells them cheaper then others. I'll CC you when I email him.
  22. Bill, can the Mits 2.4 hold up using a turbo. Just curious how much HP can the stock bottom end handle. My wife drives a 97 Galant and my try that project. Do you have any docs on the transplant? Thanks in Advance,
  23. I was running slightly hot but use a product from Redline called water... something. It works very well.
  24. That's funny. Yours look better
