  1. i can host, whats the total size? might have to clean off my backup mp3 space, but I have 3gb of storage and 80 gb of transfer doing nothing..
  2. Well, I was going to get a entire clip for my swap plans, but decided it would cost more then getting the parts indirectly.. I cant decide between the RB heads to start the project, I know the 26 flows more and the intake is much more convienent.. but it is also more expensive h ere is my current swap list needed(from my research) RB30 block and internalls RB26 or RB25 head Intake for ^^^ fuel rail and injectors all sensors harness power FC gasket set Aftermarket oil pump Custom oil pan waterpump alternator rb25 5 speed transmission(or just the bell housing, and a Z32 tranny) custom mounts modify tensoner for new 152 tooth belt.. Im thinking I can get some parts(water pump, alternator,sensors, injectors) USDM if I go piece by piece what parts should I make sure I have? Coils, Sensors, Harness...

  4. I know the tranny for a RB26 is AWD, and the case is apart of it. Ive been told I can cut the case(off?) and weld the hole.. anyone have more info on this? I know the RB25 trans will work just fine, but isnt it less strong?
  5. well here in the states, I know a place where I can specify the number of teeth and width of the belt, and get anything made...

  7. when we had the clip shipped we payed about the same in shipping.. and that was from Japan..I figured twice that in my V8 vs RB setup.. Im going to try and contact some people on wendsday to see what freight would be
  8. No im totaly serious.. might get a 26clip from somewhere, maybe the motorset.. mainly BC I need the head/tranny ive allways wanted to go 30, but my original plan was for a z32

  10. Well, My Z is in the build process, and im not to far from a rolling chassis. Witch means I can really put any motor into it that I want.. and after doing the math I see that Ill be spending 7k+ in my motor/trans combo for what Im building.. and I can see the RB motors holding more power then my stock ford block.. I helped with a RB25DET into a 240(before the Mick. Mounts) and almost did a swap for a Z32 before I changed my mind and moved.. so im not a total RB newb. here are my newb questions, Where are you Z guys getting your RB clips from? Ive seen a few links from 240 sites, anyone actually used Venus? the malaysan wars seam over and ive only seen a few links to other companys... and Z guys get better deals anyway Ive done the reading on the transmissions, The easy way out is to switch to the RB25 tranny.. But I also read removing the transfer case and welding the hole shut(any more info on this method?) Witch Id like to do to keep the 6speed.. I know what the RB motors can do, so with injectors and the 1.15AR turbo I have sitting in my living room i have some expectations.. Out of curiousity what are you aussie guys paying for a RB30 Short block?
  11. a easy way to burn the gas, is to pull the FP fuse turn it over and it will burn all the fuel out, then try again..
  12. ha ha ah ha ha.. you guys will laugh so hard at mine, the pics are getting developed of my roomates swap and Ill show you.. my old garage was sweet! but this one barely closes the front door.. Very scary when you have a $800 welder and 3k in tools plus 3k in parts.. AND YOU LIVE IN THE GHETO!!

  14. yeah, and I got 2 harnesses about 24 computers, a gt40 and a truck intake, 2 fuel rails, a stock maf(selling), about 300 in engine gaskets, and a engine stand for $20.. mustang shop closed and said take whatever I want.. but the stand was $20.

  16. im going turbo ford 351W and i want to use a carb, but uh oh its $800 for the carb alone, the intake, and its hard as hell to tune.. If I went EFi I could get a dyno tuned reburn for 150 from a local shop.. now in most cars Ive worked on (300zx's) the harness is insane.. but I see its not as bad on foxs/trucks.. I know I need a fuel rail, Injectors, Fuel pump, fuel preasure regulator, maf, and throttle body.. Half of witch I needed anyway now the computer and harness might be a seperate unit, I know the Z uses a crank angle sensor and knock sensor attached to a seperate unit.. also they use a oil preasure unit and temp unit that also attach to the comp.. what does it use?

  19. I was searching a website the other day that I got a link to off of of hybrid Z.. has some Z specific parts but has a HUGGEEEE lot of parts.. domestic/imports it had red button bubbles on the left and a AE86 on the top...
  20. its a gear reduction "mini" starter.. the pinion "moves" but doesnt fully engage.. it shows 12V and starts the other truck just fine.. I did attach the ground to the "motor" side of the starter to bypass the bracket ground and it shoots the pinion out.. but not with the ground itself, and the motor wont turn directly.. im thinkin its fried

  22. while working on a differnet hybrid(383 in a s10) ive spent the last 3 days getting the wiring all figured out, BLAM!! it starts up and idles fine, we let it run for maybe 2 minutes then shut it off.. it was probobly the second time we started the truck ever(since the motor sat for about 6 months) the carb is freshly rebuilt and the car isnt tuned, so we have to use starting fluid.. somthing got disconected and the fuel pump wasnt working, and we tryed starting it.. of course it wouldnt with no fuel.. we cranked and cranked(without a break) then I saw the fuel pump wasnt on, fixed it then tried again.. it spun weak.. like the battery was dead(witch was at 12.1V) then just stoped.. the pinion comes out but the motor wont turn... the starter was still hot 20mins later.. im thinking we fried it.. hybridZ consensus?
