1. They are -33 because they came in a set, and they are discontinued wheels in fairly rare sizes, I wasn't complainin'. Can turn wheel full lock though.
2. You under estimate just how bad the roads in my area are. When I say they are bad, I mean, they are REALLY bad. There is no such thing as a flat entrance to a parking lot. I was with my friend in his S15 going to a Nissan meet, and we got off the high way and immediately after the exit ramp, there was a goddamned MANHOLE sticking at LEAST 2 inches up out of the street, had we not swerved into the next lane, it would have ripped his air dam and under carriage a new one. I saw a Ford TRUCK scrape the bottom of the front end leaving a Wendy's the other day because the incline was so great into the parking lot. I had to do like a 3 point turn to get the car side ways enough to pull out LOL Our areas interstate EATS oil pans ;] Its a fairly common thread topic on our local car enthusiast forum. One particular member smashed off 3 oil pans on his BMW on our interstate. Trust me, if I could go lower and not worry about it, I would.
3. Unfortunately I love my Kamei air dam, but its a really hard piece to find, the only other person I know that has one is roninjiro, his is urethane though. I need to remove mine and fix a big crack in it, haha. LOLZ! I have only had those wheels like 3 or 4 months. SSR Longchamps seem to be pretty rare in their large width/super low offset sizes. Good looking 240Z, whats going on with your suspension in those pics? the rear right wheel sits good, but the rest looks really high, haha. /want more pics
4. Yeah, theres some pretty bad stuff here too. It is just OEM replacement KYB shocks with cut stock springs. 3 coils front, 2 rear. Wasn't concerned with performance really, just looks, which sounds dumb because I went through the trouble of rebuilding an L28ET and swapping one in, then doing the Z31 ECU swap. For a side note, I am very surprised at how much power the stock L28 can make, all I have is the Z31 swap, stock down and mid section of exhaust with a 2.5 shop job after that, a Isuzu front mount, stock ass boost, and air intake to accommodate the new MAF setup, and it will easily spin first and sometimes second on a cool night. I need an LSD to stop roasting single tires LOL Here are some more pics I took today of the fitment: And this is why lowering it any more would be a bad idea: There are WAY more places in Virginia Beach with inclines like this than there should be >____< You can see how I have only a finger sized gap between the air dam and street going down that incline, most places don't have that wide of an opening, or you have to worry about traffic coming in, and blocking the whole way.
5. No, it does not, and no, I will not. It has barley 3 inch of ground clearance underneath, and that is low enough for me. The roads here are far too bad to lower it much more and be functional as a daily. I am at a happy medium of tire wear, handling, and looks. VernonZ can vouch for that claim.
6. 15x10 -40 rear. 225/50/15 I wouldn't get anything in a lower offset than that, mine rubbed till I rolled the fenders/quarters/whatever the hell you call them. I mounted my tires myself, on a regular tire mounting machine, but it was a huge pain in the ass.
7. My wheel/tire combo pokes a little more than what Pontiac posted, I will take a pic of it for you in the morning.
8. Sorry, I don't remember where I found it, it was after a LONG time of playing in google. What I meant was, that airdam looks pretty much the SAME when mounted to either an S30 or S130, its just that the air dam that I posted is the one meant for S30 fitment. (Notice though that on the bag it comes in, there is an S130 wearing it though) I would say that it is a pretty safe bet that this is the answer you were looking for.
9. Check the "Wheel Fitment" thread by Sonethirty a near the bottom of page 1. I myself have 15x9.5 -33 F and 15x10 -40 R, PurePontiacKid is running really low offset wheels too. Your car has to be pretty low to pull off sizes like that.
10. FWIW, according to the thread on whatever site I found those pics on, that fascia itself, is actually for an S30, although the pic on the bag is that of an S130. They are still around, looks like they are a German company, most of their products it seems are also geared towards German and other European cars. http://www.kamei.co.uk/car-styling/
11. LOL it actually took me like an hour of googling to find those pics, only reason I bothered was because I have a similar airdam as well, and I have had a hard time figuring out what it is. I think his is the answer though.
12. Dude, I paid 300 bucks for my L28ET...WITH wire harness, ECU, and a truck load of parts from the car it came out of. KenshinX, who lives near me, just bought his 280ZX Turbo 2+2, a running complete car, for like 700 bucks, and it doesn't look half bad rust wise.
13. No idea, I found it in the rafters of my dads shed, it came off one of his friend's cars, I never have found it on, or pictured on, any other 280ZX, ever, so I don't know what it is. Trust me, I have LOOKED and SEARCHED my ass off trying to figure out what it is.
14. It looks like PurePontiac has really low pro-sidewall tires on those wheels though, I have 225/50/15s on mine, the 50 series sidewall makes it less obnoxious looking as the cars in Japan, and some of the hipari/boso style cars here in the US can be. EDIT: Not to say Pontiac`s car looks obnoxious or anything, just from those pics, the side walls looks really small, and disproportionate.
15. Bastard! Is that the road out by pick'n'pull? Looks like it. Also, WTF is that box in the lower right hand corner of the engine bay shot? It looks like it has a toggle switch on it? Good score. I already said it, but get it installed in the 260, and running in stock form before modifying it too much. Saves for a LOT of headaches down the road!
16. @ Vinh: Saw them on ebay, paid 2500 for them shipped. They are SSR Longchamp XR4 wheels. @Vernon: Yeah, I went to Freedom Wash a couple times...now I just go there to wash my car, there were WAY too many idiots there drag racing down Independence in front of the wash, and people doing burnouts in the parking lot, and otherwise being obnoxious. I have heard of the Bass Pro thing, but those kids are still street racing out there, its only a matter of time before the cops start watching that area too, like with Freedom Wash. I'll have to check up on VAdriven, I don't check it as often as I probably should, but I'm usually busy with work/school to do much.
17. Local Z member, I'm in Virginia Beach!

18. Yeah, I'll drive it instead of my TT to the next meet/show, whenever that is.
19. 15x10 -40 Rear, -33 Front. Rolled fenders, 225/50/15s I just had it aligned yesterday, I believe the guy said I had -1 3/4 camber or something, but it definitely wasn't -2 or more. /end pic whoring
20. Tell me if you find out, it looks a lot like the fiberglass one on my Z, and I have been looking for what mine is for awhile now.
21. Hey How's it going? My Z is doing fine, running well actually. I hope things are going well for you and you Z32. Still trying to save money to do the turbo buildup. Guess that will never happen. Anyway have you gone to any more meets?

22. The swap seems to call for removing the dropping resistor pack for the injectors. My car is an 82' with an 81' L28ET swap, and it would not run once warmed up until I decided to try it with the resistor pack plugged in. Runs perfect now. EDIT: I see your using and 83 harness, what I said was just an FYI, so good luck! Hope your swap goes smoother than mine.
23. Looking through search for every combination of the words MSA, Type, I/1, Airdam got me nothing. I see a LOT of threads on the Type 2/3, but what about 1? MSA needs more/better pictures for this kinda thing, this is the only one on their site: I THINK my airdam is a type 1, but I am not sure, I dug it out of my dads garage when I first got the car. Pictures of my airdam: What you guys think? EDIT: I saw this pic under complete body kits on MSA Side view isn't the same, mine from the side: Argh, anyone know what it is? I see it on pictures of JDM S130s all time time, (The one with the slits in the bottom corners, and the DATSUN raised lettering on the left bottom of the airdam, although mine has neither) Like this one:
