Hey I saw a complete intercooler kit from HKS for the 280ZXT at St. Andrews. I wonder if anyone has used it or has any ideas as to whether it would be a good buy? It was like $800 or so for the whole kit. ------------------ Future 12 sec L28ET Driver

I may be piggy backing on scca's topic so sorry about that, but does anyone have any ideas on the clutch for ZXT's that will handle the most HP and Torque? I don't really care how harsh it is, just want it to hold up. I personally was looking at the ACT Extreme w/ the Heavy duty pressure plate. I found a Flex-a-lite Fan at Tognotti's for $99 and here are the specs 13 3/4x12x5 1/4, 1050cfm w/ adjustable thermostat 180-240 I wonder if this combined w/ an Aluminum 3 core radiator (from another post) would cool pretty good on my Turbo L28? I'm getting a rebuilt Turbo engine for my '83ZXT and I'm wondering what oil I should run for the break in period? Also what weight is recommended for normal use in a Turbo motor. I've noticed after getting hot or driving on the freeway for a length of time, when I arrive at a stop my idle is pretty high. Sometimes it even reaches 1500 RPMs. Well the other day I took off my oil cap while the engine was running to look at something and the idle dropped down to about 800-900, albeit kinda rough but still down to spec. Does this mean my PCV or EGR system might not be working properly? I've replaced a bunch of hoses and can't find a vaccum leak at all. I was thinking... *smoke* If the older Mustangs and Camaros used T-5's would the Hurst or B&M shifters for those work on the BW T-5 in my ZXT?

Stony, You gotta realize Motorex is the only way we can get a Skyline in US that passes smog and is street legal. There is no way to import one otherwise. So since you're in Japan you may be able to get one dirt cheap, but we're screwed in that states. ------------------ Future 12 sec L28ET Driver
