  1. This thread is to help others and myself to see where the market is on complete donors and the LS2/T56 combo. I have done three donors complete but this is going back a few years ago. I had two LS1 Camaros (98 & 02) and a LS1 Trans Am (98). I am going after a 2005 GTO next week at the auctions with 42k miles. Here are a few pics of the car:

I am hoping to get the car in the $5k-$5.5 range. I should be able to pull back in $2-$3k on parts. Of course I am planning on keeping the engine/trans/ecu and gas pedal. Anyone else buy a LS2 setup lately?

  2. So I bought some parts to do the intank black box in the stock tank. A few members have fun this setup with no issues. Since that time, I have sold the complete running gear out of my car. I am now in the middle of figuring out where I want to go next with the car. A few weeks I may know what I am doing.

  3. Update.....

    The car starts!

Have some cleaning up to do to the fuel line, tuck away some wires, install drive shaft, new clutch master and a few other small items and she is all done. Miss the engine already!

New owner is going to love it tho.....Kjones are you getting your car fired up this weekend?

  4. I thought there was an issue with them because they do not have the mounting stud to bold them to the fenders. Unless there is another way to mount them that I missed over the past few months.....sorry I haven't been paying attention much to all the new toys coming out for our s30 cars.

Now, I can't remember off the top of my head if you can run a nut and bolt of your own.....

  5. I thought I would post this site as I find it very useful when looking to ship cars:

It is very important to look up and read reviews on companies who provide a service. I am sure some here have dealt with horrible companies and wouldn't recommend them to anyone no matter how cheap the cost was. So if you have a company you dealt with, good or bad.....tell us about it!
