  3. Call me 901-282-7450. I have some questions

  4. Hey man, you still live in memphis?

  5. I got one in storage, straight body, it's diassembled and ready for paint. The front glass is cracked and need a little work on the passenger floor pan, very little. tThe frontend bushings has be upgraded and I have a kit for the rear. I will alos let the shock/spring kit, GTRseats, Watanabe wheels (8X16 and 9X16), overfenders, rear spoiler, turbo engine block/w internals, (2) 5 speed transmissions, engine upgrade parts and stock parts go with it. All for $3800 firm. PM me and let me know if you would like to purchase.
  6. My reply was about the 280zxt that I originally purchased the wheels for not my 240z. I have fitted these wheels on my 240z which will have ZG flares, however they don't exceed my rear fenders that much and my flares are standard size. So, sorry for the misunderstanding, but its best to ask first.
  7. I've seen this wheel in Japan in the early 90's. It will be hard to get these center caps for them, being they a out dated. I believe your best bet is yahoo japan auction site. They appear on this site every now and then. Your second chose, as a suggestion, is to get a machine shop to fabricate a set for you. Just my two cents worth.
  8. Clint I see the R is still runnig hard. I am a witness to this car, it is nasty fast.

The watts look sweet!!!!!!!!!!! Super choice.
  10. I know of the XL500 piston as an alternate piston. Is this it?
  11. Just a thought: Could your problem be the placement/connection location of your gauge? Where is it located?
  12. I have several old and new magazines from Japan with articles of 3.1Ls turbocharged boasting 0ver 500Hp, one has made 700HP with a twin turbo mega dollar/yen engine and drivetrain combos. I believe he posted some of his specs in one of the artilces. I also recieved an older magazine that had an artilce explaining the buildup of a 3344.89 cc (3.3L) engine. May point is there are books ( translator required) out there which illustrate the development limits of the L28 and they may be a good guide for you in making your decision on what you want to do. These magazines will be my guide in building my 500 + HP 2.9L turbo engine, supported by an IHI turbo. Good luck on your venture.
  13. Yes, they were available ten years ago when I purchased mine, so they should be available now. The only problem I think you may run into is the offset availability.
  14. To all z enthusiasts in Memphis, Tenn. (home of Elvis) I would like to start a Z club for Memphis. We have a great city here and have the room to use it for different Z events, even national events. So, if there are any Z enthusiasts here, please make contact with me, I have the means and vision to organize a superb club, however the efforts of many will make it greater.
  15. I have the two piece watanabes RS, purchased them new; lightweight and looks super to be 10 years old, still look new. I wish I knew how to post pics, so all can drool and dream.
  16. They cost the grip, but worth every dollar, Japanese art in motion.
  17. Wrong guy, grab some factory information on this subject. The owner can look at the template under the hood, which indicates the type of tranny his car came with, but all 82s made for the year of 82 were auto.
  18. 81-82 280 zxt auto only, if there was one out of the factory with a T-5, you will have the only one.$$$$$$ Also every 280zxt I worked on or taken apart had a R200, nothing else, unless some one changed the diff.
  19. The 82 280zxt came in auto only with an R200, 3.54, however the 83 came with the T5 (some).
  20. I guess, since this has happened, they will think about building a new strip or extending this one. I know it would happen sooner or later, hopefully the driver is ok. But man, the GTR.
  21. There is an RB26DE that exist, numbers are few and only seen one of these engines for sale on an auction site. I think it would be good I deal if more power could be exacted from this type of setup and it may sound better than an L, WHO KNOWS. I have considered this setup myself and have some literature on it. The best street HP output I've found was 226. However, it is refreshing to see someone doing something out of the box.
  22. This is one nice SKYLINE, japanese art in motion. Man, I MISS JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Bob_H's car is off the charts!!!!!!!!!!!! Where can I purchase this kit? These flares combined with my Watanabes RS-8s will be sweet.
  24. Are they the two piece wheel (RS-8 or what? Watanabes are spectacular wheels. Be careful not to hit any curbs, because they damage easily. The two piece wheel rim is made of spun aluminum and is light weight. I have a set for my Z, brought those about ten years ago while living in Japan. The Proper size for a Z without flares are 0 offset in front and -12 in the rear, (8F and 9R) this is a prefect fit and you will be happy with the intense look of your z, especially from the rear. You made an excellent choice in buying Watanabes wheels, as for the offset maybe not.
