  1. I would think that Visa and Mastercard are taken worldwide by most commercial retailers. A lot of private people use Pay Pal to make or receive payments. A few sellers are backing off on that due to the percentage Pay Pal takes, but at least the buyer and seller can make an immediate transaction. Better than some of the bogus money orders and cashier checks that are still being used.
  2. I found this site, they might have what you need: AKH Wheels
  3. Yes, if I remember right they were unilug stud adapters
  4. Well yeah, that style of wheel was really popular in the 70's. However, there were 2 different styles of "unilug" wheels. The more popular were the ones with offset washers fitting into oval bolt holes. The ones you have weren't as popular. With the much larger stud openings in your wheels, you need to have the matching stud adapters. I tried searching a few sites without luck. You might try older tire stores that have been around since the 70's. They might recognize what you have, and with a little luck, they might still have some old stud adapters laying around. Ya never know
  5. I remember having a car YEARS ago that had those wheels and stud adapters. I think the were either American Racing (Ansen) or ET wheels. Is there any markings on the inside of the wheels to indicate the manufactor? That might help track down the adaptors.
  6. I'm running 205-60 15 Toyo's on 15x7 0 offset rims. No rubbing whatsoever. I have at least an inch or more of clearance between my front tires and the spoiler. The 205's are a little shorter and narrower than the 215's. I think you'd be happier with 205's than 195's.
  7. I'd use silicone spray. I'd think the armor-all would just dry up.
  8. This is true. But there will always be (or should be) some "high performance driving" with any S30...
  9. Thanks Russell. I was thinking of going with the 225/50's. The width is wider (good), but the overall diameter is smaller (bad for me). I run 3.9 with a 5 speed. Going with a shorter tire is only going to run my cruising rev's higher. I may hold out and get 16's. More tire size choices. I probably will decide to run lower springs anyways, just to fill up the wheel well gap. Still thinking.....
  10. If you are keeping your suspension at stock height, then 205-60 15's are your best bet. That's what I'm running right now on my 15x7's. I think the 205-50's would be a little too short, and make your wheel well openings look huge. The 205-60 15's look just about right. If you lower your suspension, then I'd go with the 205-50's.
  11. Thanks Dennis. I think the recommendation on the can was 6 hours, but I waited 24 hours. I kept the wheel in the house to help cure it because my garage is not heated or insulated. It has been getting down to the low 30's here lately (cold for Oregon).
  12. I went ahead and did this on my own. Basically, I taped off what I didn't want painted. Sanded the metal spokes and hub with fine sandpaper. Primed. Painted with Krylon Satin Black. Waited a couple days, then taped off all the metal. Lightly sanded and used fine steel wool on the "wood". Stained it with Cherry stain/polyurethane combo. Light steel wool between coats. Finish off with a couple spray coats of Clear Polyurathene. Came out pretty good for an amateur.
  13. Excellent. I just got me an extra set of tailights to use for the LED conversion. Keep me posted
  14. I hope you get this going soon. I'd be very interested.
  15. I found an old link from Dave on classiczcars.com, and shot him an email.
  16. Thanks. What's his username here? Maybe he'll read this post and chime in. I can't part with my tailights, so I think I'll look for another set. What did he charge you?
  17. That's only $8.46 more, so I think you still got a deal. I hope you do get it in time. I'm curious as to see how it helps ya on the track.
  18. No problem. Note that in my case, the shim didn't help. My lever had the tab worn, so I had to replace the lever. Here's a pic of my worn lever.
