  1. You can get a used one for around $50 on eBay. I'd post an ad here on HBZ under Parts Wanted. You might get lucky.
  2. I seriously doubt you need a new fuse box. You need to give more details, such as does the engine turn over, is there any other electrical parts that are or are not working? Maybe your mechanic was making reference to the fusible links. More info might produce a more intelligent answer
  3. Sometimes you get lucky chasing down them electrical gremlins. Good for you!
  4. Thanks for the translation Modern S30. That was some entertaining reading
  5. Did this all just happen at one time, or did you get the car like this? I'm going to assume you replaced all the bulbs and fuses with new bulbs and new fuses. Did you clean the bulb holders and fuse holders? Check the fusible links. Next step is to check your light switch. Check it for corrosion, broken connections or loose wires. Take it apart and clean it. Use the search feaure. Light failure is VERY common on here. Good luck!
  6. Good time to replace that plug
  7. That is one straight sweet looking '75!
  8. Ok, my bad. The dash on the 75-78's are more similar to the 240's than the 280ZX.
  9. Not that much diff between a 240, 260 or 280 dash. You must be referring to the 280ZX dashes. Most all of the 80's cars seemed to have a squared off dash. Sign of the times
  10. Great license plate on the back
  11. I ordered a set of mirrors on 3/24/10. They just arrived today. I just think they are too busy to check on emails. Plus they probably have their hands full right now with the planning for the April 24 Z-Enthusiast Reunion.
  12. Your Z isn't toast... but it could be a Biscuit
  13. Give them a call. They are bad at answering emails. I sent one over 2 weeks ago... no response. But I have no problems in getting a human on the phone.
  14. Thanks DevilZX. I know it's not rocket science, but I was hoping MSA would have provided a template. Makes me tense having to drill a couple holes in my deck. Gotta make sure I measure and drill BEFORE any beer consumption
  15. Ok, since the steering wheel on these S30's are so easy to remove, I pulled mine. All the parts are there. Since I knew my horn worked with the 280 wheel, I knew I overlooked something. With the steering wheel off, you can see the lever that has to have contact with the back of the steering wheel (it's at about the 5:00 clock postion). I gently bent it towards me. The right end of that lever has to make contact with the back of the wheel hub. Popped the steering wheel back on. Bingo... I am legal again.
  16. The back seat in the 2+2 won't fit in the coupe
  17. Will do Sumo. I might have to call them up and give them some LIP
  18. Mine was wrapped & boxed extremely well. I shot a PM to Michael to see if there is instructions or a template, or if we are suppose to just "WING IT".
  19. They should fit perfectly. The 240's sit a little lower than the 280's. I'd like to move up a size or two. I have 3.9 gears with a close ration 5 speed. Taller tires will reduce my RPM's for cruising, and fill up my wheel wells a little bit more. Be sure to post some pics!
  20. Hey Sumo, did yours come with any mounting instructions or a template for drilling the 2 holes?
