I recently got a 1981 280ZX Datsun. The car runs well and I love it, though I wanted to make some upgrades/mods to it, specifically the start and locks of the car. I essentially want to have remote locking and starting of a car. I have found very few kits that do both, most kits either lock or start with the remote. I could have two remotes but that doesn't seem logical to me. I'm very new to the realm of cars and especially electronic work on cars however, I do have friends that are willing to help me with this stuff, any suggestions on how I can incorporate both of them into 1 remote? Thank you

Hey all, I am looking for the following that will fit a 1978 280z: - Exterior Door Handle - Rear hatch locking mechanism - Rear hatch latch (that bolts into the hatch) I would be interested in buying all three exterior locks if it comes with a key. These are all small, but important parts. Any help would be great!

Like the title says! Must be matching, and must be from those 2 years. Older style locks won't work. Also considering buying just an ignition and driver's side locks that match from those years. Please have pictures so I can confirm the locks are of the correct type. PM me with offers!

My steering rack is looking bad. Bellows are off, grease nipple has some kind of strange cap. Does anyone have experience with putting a new steering rack in a 240z? Will it change anything from stock? Lock to lock? I found this on eBay: http://bit.ly/19TR02I

Ok I'm about ready to purchase my fuel setup (1 month out or less) and here's my delimma... I am using this car for almost everything: -daily driver -autocross/road coarse track days -weekend get away car with gf What's the most reliable setup for a fuel system using an aftermarket fuel cell? Pros and cons of each setup and I'm up for others ideas. I'm more than likely going with the following: -Corvette FPR (WIX 33737) -Walbro 255 Kit (GSL392) -Fuel Filter -Fuel Shut Off Valve near tank (ease of changing filters/pumps etc...) -16 or 20 gallon fuel cell with dual -8AN sump tank (plastic) from summit/jegs with fuel level sender for autometer gauges 0-90ohm... The question is which line setup is more long term without using SS hardlines? -Push Lock Hoses from major parts sellers (haven't seen it used often) -Aluminum Hardlines for bulk of fuel setup (worried about rubbing holes over long term/but cheaper for lines and fittings/still need braided for some sections/easy to flare) -SS Braided Lines (vapors coming through lines over time/how often to replace/more expensive) My HP goal is 350-375rwhp at the most so I don't worry about breaking my 300ZXT CV's as often. Hence the -6AN line choice. Thanks for the help in advance!
