Hey guys, new here, should have joined up a lot sooner and that's on me, but I need help. I've been restoring a 240z for the past 3 years and i'm close to getting it up and running. Today I realized that the tank needs to be cleaned, but it has some rust. So worse case scenario i'm looking for a decently prices tank. I saw pro alloy, but it's a bit out of price range at the moment. I also saw Dorman, but they don't seem to sell one that fits the car. So I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Really looking for something that'll fit right in with with all of the fittings in the right places. The vehicle is still carbureted so I do still need the vapor lines.

I have a question about installing Zedd Findings replacement frame rails into the engine bay of my Z. Looking at the rails it appears that there are a few discrepancies between the stock rails and the replacements. It appears that the rails are missing a taper from the originals as well there seems to be some differences between the mounts for the tow hooks between OEM and replacement Could anyone who has done this replacement before shed some light on how they got around this. The frame rails is in good shape near the front and could be butt welded, but I'd think that wouldn't be an optimal solution.

So i've been trying to find replacement inner tie rods for my 72 240z. It looks like nissan discontinued making them? There is also seem to be an issue with wrong inner tie rods from the regular autoparts (autozone, oreilly, rockyautoparts)? Where did you guys get your replacement inner tie rods? I've read someone rebuilding their tie rods; re-tightening, re-grease them, install new boots. Anybody else do this? Did it work?

Hi everyone, Just had my car quit on me. I looked underneath when it died and there was a wet spot under the fuel pump and I could smell the gas. It was giving me intermittent problems before but it seems it's finally bit the bullet. I've been doing a lot of searching to find a replacement pump but I'm having a hard time finding something saying "___ is a swap-in replacement." O'reilly and Autozone sell a couple models but one of the O'reilly pumps listed is a tank-mounted pump so naturally I'm a bit wary of trusting their system. I've also heard of people using the Walboro 255, but after looking at their website and checking around a bit, it seems that it might be too high of a pressure? I don't have a pressure gauge so I'm also wary of buying this, not to mention I've heard it takes some fab work to get it in. Any help is appreciated as always. - Pac Man
