draztik280 Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 I believe that is a relay for the emergency brake warning light IIRC. Mine got melted when i did the 280zx alternator upgrade. The relay was on the whole time after the upgrade. Then I rewired it so that it only turns on then the key is in the on position. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

darom Posted February 9, 2012 Share Posted February 9, 2012 After the external to internal voltage regulator upgrade with a 280zx alternator, this relay is always energized, even with the key in off position.
