J240ZTurbo
Hi Guys, I got the Jim Wolf P.O.P ecu upgrade version on my 280zx Turbo, and I will like to know if I can remove the original intake and put a clean N42 intake bored and with a 60mm TB on these, anyone here has this set up that can help me? Thanks, J.

SleeperZ
I can't imagine it would make a difference. The only thing I can think of idle air control, and that is a minor issue to work.
J240ZTurbo
what about the weird stuff that goes under the airflowmeter with lots of vacumm lines connect to, does that also need to be plug?

SleeperZ
what about the weird stuff that goes under the airflowmeter with lots of vacumm lines connect to, does that also need to be plug? I think most of that is idle air control, with input from the air conditioning. I ran a Z31 ECU for a while, and with a throttle body air bypass and a idle bypass, it idled fine. The only issue I had was I would stall sometimes when snapping off the throttle -- I was going to fix that with a dashpot, but never got around to it. Wolf may be doing other things with all that weird stuff, so you should probably contact them to confirm, but I think you could bypass it without too much effect.
