rallyeo
I took my front springs out to replace with the Tokico lowering springs and they look nearly the same. I did some searching on this but could not find anything. I'm assuming that since the Tokico's are stiffer than the stock springs they should be shorter... I do know that the guy that had the car before me did some mods about 10 years ago, so maybe it already has performance springs? I've included a pic of the springs and how my car sits now, any help would be greatly appreciated -
NewZed
The stock springs are noticeably longer than the Tokicos (the 5022s anyway) so the springs on your car have already been changed or modified. They're not stock. Assuming that the car in your picture is a 280Z.
yhlz
Those do not look to be the stock 280z springs. I have some in the garage and those do not look close to mine.

rallyeo
Yes it is a 280 and that's what I figured but wasn't sure. Thanks all! Now I need to decide whether to put the new springs in or just stick with the old ones -
johnc
The spring have the same number of coils and the same height. Measure the OD of the wire. The stiffer spring has the thicker wire.
