Wedge
Hi im trying to figure out what is the name for this cross bearing I need to get a new one for my Z32 tranny bracket and i didnt know how to remove it so i forced it out and the cup bearings came off and i lost some of the rollers inside. If some one know how to install remove these I am open to suggestions because they seem to be press fitted. Thank you
loy
U joint?
NewZed
It does look like a u-joint, but why would there be a u-joint on a "tranny bracket"? How about the u-joint for the steering column instead - http://www.courtesyparts.com/300zx-parts-z32-1990-1996/genuine-nissan-parts/steering/488-steering-column/-c-882_883_991_995.html
Wedge
Thank you ! its a U joint. I am french canadien and sometimes we dont even have terms in french for those things and i didnt even had a clue what to call it. This part is located on the tranny itself it connects the shifter stick to the gear box lever that switches the gears. NewZed
Almost had it. I looked for that but was on the wrong page. Here's a drawing. They might even have the u-joint although they don't call it out separately. Might not be meant for taking apart. http://www.courtesyparts.com/300zx-parts-z32-1990-1996/genuine-nissan-parts/power-train/328-transmission-shiftcontrol/-c-882_883_953_970.html
