Rinzler
I know they wouldn't be able to rest correctly but could you wear them with the stock seat? I have a 280z and dont really want to go through the saga of having to get new seats and modify them to work. Has anyone tried to use harnesses with their stock seats? gnosez
EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! There is no way for the shoulder belts to stay in the correct position/alignment without some form of hole/guide. In addition where are you attaching the shoulder belts themselves?
johnc
Don't do it. The harnesses will pop off your shoulder and you'll smash you face on the steering wheel.
m1ghtymaxXx
I was thinking of using some harness with the stock seats PURELY for autocross, but as mentioned, they'd be dangerous anywhere where you risk being in a collision.
CrayZ
Don't do it. The harnesses will pop off your shoulder and you'll smash you face on the steering wheel. This made me laugh
Rinzler
Thanks, yeah it didnt seem like it would work. I guess I will have to bite the bullet and get aftermarket seats.
srgunz
Schroth Belts makes one you could use. Patent for DOT use. Not many know about them. I had them in my own 240Z. http://www.schrothracing.com/engineering
duragg
Depending on which group you may be In-Tech with stock.
