Urijah
Was curious what mpg others are getting out of their Z car
PLATA
On mine all stock, I'm getting close to 30 mpg's all day long
The Infidel
Depends on the set up, I get horrible mpg. But I run a TH400 with 3.54 rear gears and a 24inch tall drag radial for the street and a taller slick for the track.
Domzs
IMO , V8 Z is not about mpg but the enjoyment that you get from driving it . And it's more fun when you can blow the door off of the newer sport cars .
1 tuff z
30ish mpg highway in the 70-80mph range, 3.54 diff and keeping my foot out of it. BTW, have you searched this topic? Think there may be an existing thread...
SUNNY Z
There is an older thread. I get about 20 all the time. doesn't really seem to matter how i drive it.

I agree, add that true GT vintage look, ease of maintenance/reliability, power, 30 or so mpg makes them a true JOY
RebekahsZ
One day of autocross = 1/2 tank of gas. 15 passes at strip = 1/2 tank of gas. I just keep it full of 93. I'm more bothered about how the mileage of my truck doubles (twice as bad) when I'm towing. And that flickering check engine light... Flickering or flashing " CEL " unsually indicates that you have a misfired condition . Edited May 16, 2013 by Domzs
sq_creations
I'm on e85 with a 8 gallon tank. So I'm not driving very long distances. lol. I'd say I'm in the "teens" for mpg's

SUNNY Z
I thought I'd report an update. Drove it 3 hrs on interstate a couple weeks ago, and averaged 24, after playing around once i got to my destination. This was driving 80 as well. Would probably do 26 ish if i babied it.
