AkumaNoZeta
Mind sharing the size and offset?
stony
16x8 0 offset rear had to be rolled. A car of normal height might be ok but mine is lowered and rubbed going around corners.
EZpickenZ
What Tire Size?
stony
225/50/16 I think a 205/50/16 would fit better and would not require fender rolling.
xtreme_240z
Its got a decent lip on the wheel to. If all you had to do was only roll the rear you got the correct fitment possible without having to do that dump stretching tires thing most of my friends do on there cars. AkumaNoZeta
I want to get wheels the same size, but with 245/50s all around. Do you think that would stick out too far for even rolling the lips to clear?
stony
Rolling the fenders will not help with 245's. Mine actually still rub when I hit big bumps at speed. I'm not worried about it at this point since i will eventually be putting on overfenders.
str8pipez
A touch of positive offset helps a HUGE amount when it comes to rub.
winstonusmc
My wheels are 16x8 +4 and they rub in the back with 225/50 tires. I think with the rears rolled, it would be fine.
AkumaNoZeta
Nice to hear actually, I was hoping it would be big enough to make a good excuse for Subtle Z fenders and 940Z quarters.
stony
I dont know how it did it but my fan got into my radiator. Not sure if it was old damage that finally sprung a leak but when it actually let go i was just tooling around town and started seeing steam from under the hood. Just recieved me new aluminum stock replacement. once installed i will take some pics. it looks like it matches the stocker exactly. I paid 182 for mine. not sure why its showing 482 now??? http://www.ebay.com/itm/181062815279#ht_4223wt_1097
z240
This one is $158! Same item, same PN, same company. http://www.ebay.com/itm/75-78-NISSAN-DATSUN-280Z-FAIRLADY-Z-S130-JDM-3-ROW-FULL-ALUMINUM-RACING-RADIATOR-/161123414156?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A280Z&hash=item2583b4308c&vxp=mtr I wish I had the kutzpah to put the same item on ebay for two wildly different prices to see who would buy the expensive one! Mind you, I would have fun telling them why if they ever discovered the difference and wanted to know the reason they had been "ripped off"... Now mind you item # 230936863079, an 800 ml Aluminum rad overflow bottle, is a bargain of $765 ($135 off the regular price of $900) is a real steal!! Clearly I'm in the wrong business....
