jkgts1 Posted June 8, 2013 Share Posted June 8, 2013 Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has done a front engine with a rear mount transaxle? Like some porches. I know it is full fab work, but i was just curious. I probably wouldn't even attempt anything like this. I know space in the rear is a premium, so it might not be fesable. Thoughts? RebekahsZ Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I prefer to drive my car as opposed to working on it ALL the time. With LS V8 I have 51% rear weight. Only advantage I could see is maybe with a LS swap from a Corvette using the torque tube and rear trans setup along with Corvette IRS.
