OldAndyAndTheSea
This is where I am in the process. Still not done yet.... Injector pigtails will be hidden under the fuel rail. But that won't happen til I get home and fire the motor. And here is how I shaved my intake manifold, for those that care. Before I have since added 3 vacuum fittings from when these last pictures were taken. Still a work in progress though.
Kevin.pk
whole engine bay welded up and smoothed. Chassis wiring ran through the fender well. Fusible links/fuses moved inside the car. Engine wiring harness could be cleaned up, but no immediate plans to do that.
xtreme_240z
Best picture i could find quickly. I possibly could have more. L28 at the time still with distributor, but all front wires were send under fender
nacitar
I get the "wire tuck" bit of this thread, but what is being "shaved" here?
LanceVance
I get the "wire tuck" bit of this thread, but what is being "shaved" here? Left shaved and powder coated, right stock. 'Shaving' is typically done to intake manifolds, but can apply to anything; valve covers, thermostat housings, even the engine bays sheet metal. Take a look at the VW crowd to see the most extreme examples.
winstonusmc
You should rotate you injectors down so the wires will be under the rail. Here is mine with the linkage towers removed and the fuel rail mounts shaved.
