socorob
I know I can't handle south Louisiana heat. AC is a must!

socorob
The main reason I'm looking at vintage air instead of reinstalling the stock system is if I have to get the 2 heater valves rebuilt and the new AC coil, and heater core, that ends up being $200+ more than vintage air. tx240z
280zcar could you post up more pics of your install? I'm looking into buying this same unit and any info/pics would be very helpful
socorob
http://www.xenons30.com/files/DatsunZ_Vintage_Air_1000.pdf This is what made me choose the compac. It has a little larger fan but the rest of the components are the same as the mini.
Phantom
Does anyone know if the stock Z AC has dehumidified defrost? No it doesn't - Wish it did. You would have to get creative with the controls and add a separate A/C switch to get that. Mattd428 - My answer to your question is that after living in Arlington, TX for 23 years I now live in Washington state - and that was with a Z with A/C. Kevin.pk
280zcar could you post up more pics of your install? I'm looking into buying this same unit and any info/pics would be very helpful I didn't take any more pics when the dash was out and its back in now. Haven't hooked up the A/C or heater hoses yet either. Gotta love TX weather... as soon as it is warm enough to drive the car without heat, I'd rather drive it then finish the heater install and when it is cold, i don't want to go in the garage to work on it. That situation won't last when summer rolls around though. Not going through another Texas summer without A/C.
