helghast7
Are you using custom mounts? I've only heard of people with rb26's having clearance issues with the intake.
ZachDaaron
nope, mckinney mounts w/ a no-name intake. i contacted mckinney and asked about them and they said you have to modify the intake angle with the mounts i have because they designed the mounts to move the engine as far back into the engine bay as possible to create room for the radiator and anything else you would need to put in the front of the bay. helghast7
Weird, I have the same mounts on my 78 with an eBay intake and I clear just fine.

theczechone
Yeah I have the same problem, my q45 throttle body clears just barely, i think i may modify my wheel well to make it fit, not sure yet.
ZachDaaron
For $100 EBB will fix the angle and extend the inlet. I want to keep the chassis as oem as possible
Paul johndon
I have the knock off greedy intake and spent a few hours trying to clean it up and get it to fit right. Also there’s no place to put aux air regulator for fast idle. I put a Q45 throttle body that has a thermal element (wax pellet) for cold start fast idle. You’ll need to run small coolant hoses to and from the t/body. Worked well on my 77 280z rb25det. Paul johnson.
