Drift Boss Posted May 10, 2015 Share Posted May 10, 2015 Hey. Um. Here is my "build" Brought it home with a 302 v8 in it. It had a broken valve spring when I picked it up. Dyno only put out 280 ish whp. It had trick flow heads, 700 holly carb, rods/pistons, headers, full bolt ons. Needless to say, I never felt right driving a v8 datsun. I felt like a tool bag. Holy bumpers batman! I am doing a 2jzNa-t swap right now, Engine is in just trying to get it running on its own now. Engine runs with starting fluid though. Mine won't be done before summer temps hit here, So im going to be sweating my @$$ off in July and August. Had parts finding and parts making delays, now an MS2 tah signal issue. I have mine im also doing an 2jz na to t but havent gotten my motor back from machining. I brought bulk of what i need and im probably gonna have a hard time with the nick nacks. What turbo you going with? if your not staying stock twins that is. Im hoping my motor comes back around sept so I have a winter project. Twins =) Then I had a single. Here is the problem I had. Drift motion manifold, and downpipe kit. Garrett 60 trim turbo, and cxracing oil lines. I had to cut out my oem trans mount. It is easy to fab up a alternative mount Re did all my wirring Here is the 1jz before install Unfortunately my car had a 302 v8. So the last owner cut out my oem mounts!
