joem64
Need to find a source for the stock nissan oil galley plugs for a 280ZXT block. I had removed the plugs myself, and my machine shop didn't realize they were needed(they work primarily on american engines) My fault, on several counts. So, i'm just trying to find a source for these friggin things... anyone have one? Just want to tap them in, and start the final assembly process. thanks, joe in WI
clarkspeed
I tap mine and put Allen head NPT plugs in. 3/8 or 1/4 can't remember. Be careful with the front one, it can block an oil gallery and you may need to grind it flush.
fraz
3/8 npt. You need to drill it out to 9/16 before tapping it. 1/4 npt only just scratches the thread in and the plug won't be tight enough

I thought I remembered this happening at the rear of the block - at any rate check both to make sure you don't block oil flow to one of the mains.
