kubus Posted December 14, 2016 Share Posted December 14, 2016 anybody has used the ITM dished pistons on turbo builds ?? i need a set of dished pistons 0.20" oversized with rings - and can't find any other than ITM. any help would be much appreciated. BluDestiny Posted December 15, 2016 Share Posted December 15, 2016 ITM is a pretty well known brand on this forum. If this is a stock rebuild, those pistons will be fine. skirkland1980 Posted December 16, 2016 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Ive been using the itm dished pistons with the rings that came with them since 2010 running 15 psi boost for the first 5 years and 20 psi since 2015. No problems yet. Just keep detonation under control. I've blown head gaskets and broke a ring land on the stock piston at less boost but was obviously having detonation issues at the time.
