taaron
Has anyone ever taken the dash core support out of the foam, cleaned it up and sealed it off with new sheet metal and used that as a dash? Im running a megasquirt and have planned on using it with a tablet to replace all my gauges anyways.
jhm
Someone here did something similar (full dash cap vs sheetmetal).....not exactly the same, but similar concept. Final product should be a good bit lighter than the stock dash. Skillard produces custom gauge pods, which may be helpful for your gauge mounting. seattlejester
I have the print files somewhere to make the gauge pod adapter to mount the tablet right behind the wheel. You could also just run a bent sheet of metal folded at about a 90* and make brackets to the mounting points, unless you need the core to mount the radio, fans, etc.
