I'm likely at about $4500 canadian ($3000US into my engine and accessories)

- 82 Turbo Engine Stock Rebuild

- P90 Head with a few minor airflow mods

- SDS EM-6E EFI/Ignition Control

- MSD 6A

- Isuzu NPR Intercooler

- 240sx Throttle Body

- Custom I/C Piping

- Mitsubishi Eclipse BOV

- 2.5" exhaust (3" in the plans)

- Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch

- Lots of little things that add up fast

With a few more minor mods (injectors, exhaust, downpipe) The car should be capable of low 13's. One day soon I'll stop building race cars and finish building my own cars. tongue.gif

I always liked the reponse if you have to ask you can't afford it, which means I can't afford anything, becuase I always ask.

What made the biggest differences. Lets see. A big hybrid, intercooler, JWT ecu upgrade. But the best bang for the buck I got was the 3 inch mandrel exhaust with a straight thru muffler. That change alone dropped me 6 tenths of a second.

I have alot tied up in mine. It has forged pistons, and very good machine work, which together was probably 2 grand. I had a 3 angle only done on the head, it is port matched and that is it. Has ARP rod bolts. I am probably close to 5k, counting buying everything except the car.

heya sleeper i am running a 3.5 inch full exhaust on my '77 280. i am running the dynomax magnafow muffler. gives an excellt kick ass sound at idle and when i hit boost up to 20 lbs the car is rather quiet not as loud as you think it would be. also there is no drop in power either i have proved this with an l28et on an engine dyno swapping out mufflers.

when I had my turbo engine in the 77 280, I bought a donor car that ran great, replaced all engine gaskets, plug wires etc.., put in a boost guage, put it all together with a 3 inch exhaust made by a local shop for about $500.

turned up the boost for free(~10 psi) and drove it a couple years with no problems until the turbo shaft bearings croaked and the V8 bug bit.
