Two40MuscleZ
Hey guys, have a question for you. Can anyone recommend where I can buy a good gear reduction starter motor that would work with a 12-1 compression 350 cid motor. Without spending an arm and a leg. Its getting old waiting for the stock one to cool off enough to roll over the motor. Appreciate the help. Thanks, VAN
Tim240z
van, PAW (performance Automotive wharehouse), or summit. PAW is 1 mile from my office, so if you want to save on shipping and handling, let me know. Tim
Mike C
I like the CVR from Jegs. The Nippondenso style vs. the Hitachi style although both will work. Some manufacturers have dual flywheel patterns and some don't, CVR does.
Mike kZ
What Mike said, the CVR starter is excellent! It sounds like a semi starting up, plus the housing is adjustable.
Owen
Anyone have good instructions on the proper way to adjust and shim a starter? Thanks, Owen
