I think he's not wearing a helmet because the car has a rollover resistance that is unreal and a rollbar. I would not be too afraid of rolling that car, even at the limit, but then again I did crash a motorcycle in a stupid way.

Very cool car with an awesome powertrain :D Thanks for the link.

Seriously fast!

Probably all he can do just to hold the steering wheel.... man impressive when he floored it while moving along..... Think Skyline's evil mutated little brother...

I recall a story of a guy in my Z club who was working on a formula V car (1200 or 1600) or ???? whatever... one of them small open wheel racers, that make that Super 7 look like a heavy tank...

Anyways, the owner of one of these cars brought it into this guys shop and had an idea... take two Suzuki GSXR's 750 engines, and have a custom block made and crank, and make it a v8 with a 11+++ rpm redline. entire engine could be lifted by one person!! (under 100 lbs if i recall correctly.......)

anyways, it made 250++hp, and was imediately disqualified when he ran the car to qualify for an event.... it was WAY too fast!

my buddies have harleys so i got a new yamaha fz1 and rejetted it and put a pipe on it .130 hp at the wheel.plus its reliable and gets good gas mileage.supposed to be good for a mid 10 1/4 but i dont think i will try that.110 in second gear is enough.the z is for road racing tracks.

2001 ZX12R (with a few mods) 250ish rwhp :)

Youd have to be REALLLLY good and light to hit mid 10s on an FZ1...not exactly setup for drag racing.

Id guess 125 - 130ish trap speed though.

I've met Randy... If he is as good at driving the bike as he is at his car, he meets the weight requirement... An FZ1 is capable of 10s... Then again My custom ZX9R was taken into the 9s, but not by me!!! I SUCK at drag racing... :D

i love the FZ1, a de-tuned R1 with more low end and so much nicer to ride.. so comfy... plus i love the way u sit on the bike, unle GSXR's which arent very comfy to drive all the time.

I might even buy a 2002 FZ1 (it could be a 2003 but i think its a 2002), its ben sitting at my friends bike shop for almost a year because it came with broken bodywork and something else broke, but its brand new, ZERO miles!! they just put the new stuff on it and will sell it to me at what they paid for....6500.. hehe, i might do it but that will set-back the 240Z :(.. not sure yet.
