stony
me too. i was going to make one out of aluminum since i have some argon left ..... get some thin wall pipe 3 inch or so in diameter weld caps on it and drill and tap it for some male an fittings and a breather an walla you have a oil catch can. Most metal suppliers will let you go thru remnants for free ;>
Guest Anonymous
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=4363&prmenbr=361 http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=2462&prmenbr=361 A nice aluminum one and an inexpensive one. Of course I do understand if you want the satisfaction of making your own. Mark

yo2001
I got the Moroso unit. It's a nice unit. Don't you need to have baffles inside?
Owen
I want one too, and I like the Greddy and Cusco look vs the Moroso or the one in Jegs. MSA was advertising a coolant catch can, chrome and a clear tube on the outside. About a month ago they told me they'd have'em soon.. Owen. Guest ON3GO
well i am almost done maken my 1st ghetto one... its a bitch. i tried making one like a box but i didnt like my welds so i took a 2.5in exhaust pipe and cut it to like 6inchs, welded a bottom and put holes in the side so i can put two 90 degree elbows in it so i can use a clear tube to see the level of oil, just like the Greddy one.. now i just have to finish the top of it, and get a breather and then clean it up abit. mike
Owen
Cool, post pix when you're done! I could never bring myself to buy one of those Greddy or Cusco ones, too high dollar. Are you putting baffles in for the oil breather tank? Make sure you get the right clear hose that's oil/coolant safe too. Owen

Sparky
hey guys, ive been slowly working on mine for about a year now, (well, not really working on it, but planning too!!!! ) i went to the local metal supply shop and they let me take some scrap alum tubing for free. one day, i will weld the thing together and hook it up. here are some good links to some home made catch cans. http://www.integraxsi.orcon.net.nz/catchcan http://www.ls1info.com/article.php?sid=
denny411
Sparky, If you`ve been working on one like in the second link for a year, I think you need to be on Ritalin Looks good to me, That`s the kind I`m going with. Cheap and Easy, just the way it should be.
