Guest Anonymous
Will the front and rear brakes from a 1979 280ZX work on a 1977 280Z? they have the same lug pattern, so at the least I would think the discs would fit. Thanks.
SleeperZ
Search. This topic has been extensively discussed, and the answers are all in previous threads. Even Zcar.com has most of the answers on his topic.
Cable
I've been searching for hours and still haven't found any info on using 280zx brakes/strut housings on a 240/260/280z.
blueovalz
If memory serves me correctly, the rotors will go on without problems, but minor modifications must be performed to use the calipers. The issue that I see here is that the 300ZX rotor, and the 280ZX rotor both can be backfitted to the Z series, but with the 300ZX rotor being bigger than the 280ZX, and the 280ZX caliper works with the 300ZX rotor, why use the dinky 280ZX rotor? JMortensen
When you guys search, type in your key words like "280ZX caliper front brakes 240 260 280" or whatever you want, then click the little bullet right below the search term that says "Search for all terms". Then it won't show you a response unless it has ALL of those terms in it. Cuts the search time down A LOT.
