Guest ON3GO Posted October 21, 2003 Share Posted October 21, 2003 hey guys.. christmas time is coming and so is my b-day.. nov 3rd. ill be getting some money and i was thinking of things to get for it that will set me out from the rest. i think my car is pretty different from the rest i see, color wise, wheels wise, and parts i have, but im trying to think of some other things. ill be able to spend some money, not ALOT ALOT, but some. any ideas? im guessing something exterior or just something different on some part of the car. the car when it comes to houston will be pretty solid and running great so im not gonna need to really fix anything more, besides the rear end but im gonna do that after school. interior isnt in the best shape but i plan on buying seats after school, and re-doing the whole thing after school. so any ideas? thanks mike Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not sure if it's your cup of tea or not, but I think some custom billet fender emblems might be nice. Maybe a 240/Z28, or something. A nice quiet Hirschman power antenna is also nice to have. Beats the heck out of those cheapies that sound like a bunch of bolts in a blender when you turn the power off. Braided hoses? Personally, I'd skip the dainty little JDM mirrors. Everyone I've talked to who has them, no matter how much they like the way they look, hates the way they work. Adjusting them from the driver's seat is obviously an impossibility, and from four feet away, you can't see very much in them. But if it's your cup of tea, feel free. What do you think about custom valve covers? Getting your name milled into them would be interesting. Hey, you've gonna have money burning a hole in your pocket - Does life get any sweeter? I was going to do the same thing but I was just going to weld pices on the sides of the vents after bending them in. Like in the first photo of yours.
