Guest V8wannabe
While my Z was in the paint shop getting preped for a final guide coat, I got bored and creative at the same time. Here is the result. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=2197 http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=2185

Guest V8wannabe
It took 2 Saturdays and a bunch of evenings to build around 30-40 hours, a lot of the time grinding the welds smooth. It's 1:6 scale a little better than 2 feet long. I modeled it after my 76Z with air dam, spoiler, sunroof (check out my Personal Pics page). I'm toying with the idea of building a replica frame , but them start thinking floor pans, firewall , inner fenders....... yikes..working suspension now I'm scaring myself. That's about the point I decide I better leave it alone till I have a whole bunch more time . Thanks for the interest, I'll keep you posted on updates

CruxGNZ
Damn, you got skills! And lots of patience. It's pretty neat. Hey, I wonder if you could put some colored vinyl over the wire frame and heat it up, then pull a vacuum on it from underneath. It would create the body panels for you. I wonder if it would work hmmm... !M!
