Check out this classic 900, made by the factory to be a real beast

and one of my favorite saabs, the 9000 aero, my father has one of these pretty quick car, but it has to much power for the front wheels to handle.

Just thought I'd share another of my interests

aeros are awesome cars! i have a 9000cse turbo, when they talk about "typical saab issues" mine has most of the usuals... runs hot, switches giving out, climate control gave up it's blower fan, something stupid's causing my snail not to boost  ... all easily fixable if i could keep my wrenches off the 240, but...

all in all, it's a great car, starts every time, comfortable as hell, quick when it's spooling, looks good, hauls stuff like a swedish moving van... it just sucks when you have to buy parts for it!

They are very nice cars, although they are pricey to fix. My family has owned SAABs in the past, but I went Volvo when I had the chance. Both from Sweden, both "quality" cars, both safe, but the Volvo was rear wheel drive

I had an 89 Saab 900 for about a year. awesome car. nicest car i ever owned. heated seats and mirrors, radio controls on the wheel. I liked to freak my friends out by putting the key in the emergency brake and starting the car.

couldn't get used to the whole backward engine thing. Front wheel drive with a motor tilted about 40 degrees with transaxle running under the motor. clutch was right behind radiator, alternator and a/c compressor (and serpentine belt) right up against the firewall. Kooky.
