Guest rick458
I am trying to decide between Jet-Hot on the Ex and ArizonaZ Manifold and some Hi temp paint that will work and keep looking good
clarkspeed
The Eastwood stuff looks almost as good as Jet-Hot and lasts a long-long-long time. Jet-Hot has better insulation properties. Choose based on budget and application.
Guest 305240
I got to agree with Eastwood. Follow their directions to the letter. They will last.
5foot2
does the eastwood stuff work as well on tube headers as it does on cast iron?
A. G. Olphart
Bump... I,too, would like to hear how well it works on headers. Thanks-
clarkspeed
Eastwood paint works excellent on headers. Looks just like Jet-Hot if you choose that color. Follow their directions and get them hot about 24 hours after painting like the directions. I prefer to sandblast first to prep for paint. Nismo280zEd
I've had really good actually... surprisingly well results with a 4 dollar can of Rustoleum Ceramic paint. Worked better than the por 15 high temp stuff I used lol. Still lookn' good too. -Ed
Clifton
I have always used black 1200* paint from either Checker( I think it is Duplicolor) or VHT. They make a silver too.
