73speed
hey everyone, I think I'm about to give up on my V8 z project, think I'm just going to have to put in the back burner for a few years. anyway, I 'm going to get rid of it and wanted to post a pic to see what you guys think it would be worth putting it out for, I was thinking ebay but I'd sure like to get some of my cash back. well I think this is a great car for anyone wanting to go v8, a little rust on doors, rails are all good, no rust in floor pan, it's been lowered, redline wheels, whale tail spoiler. what do you think? ok I just posted the pic of the car on yahoo. check it out http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/juan_renteria2003/album?.dir=/c5e9
Here comes trouble
Good looking car.... why not keep it.. You will not get out of it what you have in it and then if you re-place it some day. you will pay a lot more. $4000.
Guest Battle Pope
I'll give you 50 bucks for it tomorrow Seriously though, that's a really nice car. I'd say the 4k neighborhood too.
280zwitha383
Yes that is a very nice Z. Where are you located?
73speed
kidding, actually the car really does look better in the pic for some reason engine is running I would say perfect, has some minor body work thats needed, basically overall I'd say it's still a nice car, so if anyone is interested let me know, I'd like around $2k for it, it's in central california. Guest zfan
Damn for 2k it should go quick, reral quick! Mike
280zwitha383
Does it have air conditioning? I might consider buying it and flying to CA but the drive back would be horrendous w/o a/c. I'm a bit of a pony when it comes to heat....
awd92gsx
Why are you giving up on the project? You have a very nice Z as a basis to start with.

Poundz9oh9
Man, $1800. if I had the cash and the time to fly out there to pick it up, I'd be all over that like white on rice in a styrafoam cup on a paper plate in a snowstorm..... I'm bout to give up on mine. Why not start fresh
Guest 73LT1Z
I think I wish I was in CA and had not bought the '75 I did... if you can't get $1800 out of that car, something is wrong. Same story as when I was looking earlier- the better condition cars are on the west coast, and possibly this is why yours has not sold yet- there were a lot of them in the bay area when I was looking for mine. Have you tried Autotrader or here ? It would be helpful to put some more info in your Craigslist or other ads- i.e. auto/manual, AC, any other mods or repairs, mention the door rust & solid frame rails & floors as you did here, etc.
Poundz9oh9
Don't suppose you could hold onto it until late feb
Georgia Flash
You would get much more than 1800 on EBay I would think. Remember aim high there is always someone out there that would pay double what you are asking believe me.
Mikelly
What front spoiler is that on the car? I agree with these guys... $1800 is a crying shame... I'd buy it just for snicks if it was close by. Mike
pete280z
What front spoiler is that on the car? Looks like the Kaminari 74.5+ air dam with a 240z bumper.
