Hmm, I don't seem to remember any mid-engined Toyotas in the early 70's... But then again, he's got a tiger by the tail with that project - it'll be a monster. And, if he can get it to the point of being a real daily driver, well, I'll be *seriously* impressed. Certainly they seem to be doing their homework. The big one started in the mid-80s. I was there The fight of the MR2, The Golf (rabbit), the Civic CRX. remember the Playboy showroom stock series? Or the mini-truck racing series? I also run the MR2OC.com board. Thanks for the kind words guys. I have learned a lot with this swap. More than I ever thought I would. My slills are lacking though. You must understand that I have learned everything I know about this crap on my own. Been learning since my first project car in 1977. The Toystar is just another project I have gotten way over my head in. Though this one will get completed, but we are on a hold as we are moving to a new house with a few large shops to work in. The time and patience alone to make this car even run let alone stuffin that V8 down in there must have been a task in itself.
