KTM-EXC
I have been looking for a bov to go with my new NPR and was planning going with a 1G dsm one but since I don't have any welding abilities don't think I could come up with a flange. On Ebay that have 6" long 2.5" straight pipe with a HKS flange welded in so I was just going to get that then get an hks bov, but those are expen$ive! So those ebay bov's are they any good or do I have to get the real thing? Also I found a pipe kit on ebay, does that look like it has enough in the kit to build what I need? Any feedback would be very helpful. Confused
The HKS Bovs arent to terribly expensive. When it comes to something like that, I wouldnt cheap out.

stinky
ive got one that looks identical to that...no problems so far. I've very happy with it for the price. There really isnt too much that i can see going wrong with it anyway.
KTM-EXC
You are probably right as far as I shouldn't go cheap when it comes to a bov, I was just looking to see if anybody had any luck with them. Stinky, how long have you had yours? That intercooler pipe kit, does it look like it has enough pipe to put my NPR intercooler on? Thanks Rob
proxlamus©
yep.. i only used 1 U bend or 2 of those pipes.. and 1 LONG straight pipe.. check out my cardomain site for more pics
KTM-EXC
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=7993963928&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT I just bought this bov that is suppose to be a genuine HKS bov. ProXlamus- When put your intercooler in did you have to weld anything or did you use those rubber connectors? I would also like to add that you have a very nice car! Thanks, Rob
proxlamus©
thanks No i just used... a 90 degree reduced silicone bend out of the turbo... 2" to a 2.5" 90 bend (1 quantity) 2.5" to a 2.75" (2 quantity) for the intercooler inlet/outlet 2.5" silicone connecter/coupler (2 quantity) Thats it! I bought three 2.5" U-bends and only have to use ONE! so I still have two more sitting in the basement! I went to an exhuast shop and bought 3 feet of straight pipe for like $25. Ohh and this was NO welding.. since I do not know how to weld.. lol. The straight pipe goes through the radiator support then I have a small 6 inch pipe at an angle with the connectors on to make a bit of an angle.. and it worked... holds boost at 12psi without the pipes blowing off. Soo not bad..
KTM-EXC
thanks for the pics, do you think It would hold up with high boost 17psi+?? Oh yeah, did your supra injectors fit fine with the pallnet rail? Thanks, Rob
