JMortensen
ON3GO has proven time and time again that he CAN'T stick to the basics, so his bug was probably $20K...
(goldfish)
The pickup talk reminded me of the SBC in the S-10s.
Moridin
because those cars generally cannot be had for cheap Especially not for a couple grand unless somethings wrong with them. CRX H22 swap not really gonna be cheap either' date=' that's a lot of custom work right there as opposed to just doing a B18. Anyways now K series engines are all the rage for honda swaps. An old Toyota p/u with a turbo would be sweet... can we say light truckbed rear end = no traction? And a super light vehicle overall... that would be very sweet. Is there a certain engine you would look for in particular for turbocharging? I've often thought of turbocharging the tercel coupe.[/quote'] I know they're not cheap, but when you start adding up all the additional parts for a swap on another cheaper car they become quite expensive. Simply turning up the wick on those cars (T-type, etc...) with a few things goes a long way. They same thing holds true for a few other similar cars too. Spend a little more for the car, but not have to spend all the extra money here and there to make it run right.
