v80z
Does anyone have any info on a cold air intake for a 4 barrel carburetor? Thanks
Sparks280zt
I think jegs sales this breather looking thing that has two peices of tubing that run off each side to go in front of the radiator support.
SHO-Z
Saved this picture off of the internet when I was thinking V8. It is the cleanest that I have seen. This is similar to the 67 0r 68 Camaro Z-28 cowl induction and was also used on there road race cars.
jt1
ramairbox.com has some interesting stuff, but packaging under a stock hood is a little iffy. What kind of setup is that? A 1st gen with coilpack ignition? Awesomely clean engine compartment!!!!! John
Synlubes
There is alot of air that gets sucked into the cowl panel. This would work as well as a cold air intake out front I would think.
A. G. Olphart
We did the same sort of thing (used a flexible boot between the air cleaner and cowl vent tunnel) on a 72 Chrysler due to underhood tenps in CA's central valley. It works OK, but it also sucks in a fair number of autumn leaves and other trash.
