You guys and gals will love this:

The skid plates under the wheels of the HondasAcuras are pretty funny - what people will do for some kicks.

The Ram is sweet - the driver even looks a little bored and you have to love the Bar-B-Q pit in the back.

Enjoy!

That's one of the saddest videos I think I've ever seen. What, you pay a few bucks and get a turn with the plates?

It's funny how they've edited out a few parts where it looked like a car was about to hit the curb.

And can somebody please explain the fascination with carbon fiber hoods?

that was weak!!!!! bonk.gif

that circle i believe is what they should have been driving around. Ive seen guys in japan that could be smoked the hell out of the tires while keeping on of the fronts on the line all the way around the circle without the aid of water !!!! nono.gif

Me and my fried have done that in his old (it's like an 84) honda civic. It's not a fast car, just something to drive. But it does do amazingly fun donuts like that smile.gif I know, I know, it's nothing like a true RWD donut, but it's fun, and easier on tires smile.gif

Our method was to "borrow" a couple plastic trays from taco bell or the likes, and just put the back tires on them with the e-brake on. The only downside to this method was that they only lasted about 20 seconds.

Oh well, good fun for a night of juvenile misbehaviour smile.gif

I saw that Yellow WRX at Nopi this year, badass car!

and yeah traying, or thats what we call it here is alot of fun..if u have a FWD car.

its just a shame for those guys to be doing that in there Type R's... i mean i cant stand hondas but Type r's arent made for that at all.

thise thing handle, i mean i HATE honda, big time, i wouldnt even drive a S2000 or even a ITR, but those things are made for one thing, road racing. there great at it. there not ment for Drag Racing at all, heck there slow at it, 14.8 if your lucky.

I've done some "traying myself" in my friend's Suzuki Swift. Trays wear out real fast, but Taco Bell ones seem to work the best. Anybody ever tried tray-surfing? - Standing on trays and being pulled with a rope behind a car...I miss the good 'ol days. bonk.gif

If you were in a stock Prelude, then there probably WAS something wrong. Either they had airheaded drivers who didn't know how to use what they had, or you weren't racing real Type R Integras. Less weight than your Prelude with the same horsepower, IIRC, and geared lower.

Just a thought.

Saving 50-75% of the weight over a stocker is nice, but I feel quite sure its bling bling factor.

Otherwise people wouldn't bother buying carbon fiber wallpaper, or painting thier hood flat black...

Its fine to want to save some weight if you plan on doing some serious racing, but just to tray around a parking lot seems like a major waste of $$$.........

rockon.gif oh yea! 2thumbs.gif did anyone see the size of the muffler on that 240SX? what gets me about the carbon fibre hood, is that i bet they weren't serious enough to gut the car or take out any of the other dead weight factors. My lude is gutted from the front seats back, mostly because i was hoping for a mpg improvement.
