240ZR
the "rear" turbo kit for the camaros comes to mind..... Imagine if that turbo in his car goes critical? Darwinism AT ITS BEST...
280Z28
That rear turbo kit for camaros puts down power thats nothing to scoff at...
Trecani
Sounds like a headache and a lot of lag to me. Check out this Lancia though... http://videos.streetfire.net/hottestvideos/3/317A1BB9-FF81-436B-B2B1-D856D2DC6EBD.htm
Gollum
if he had just put the whole motor in the back I'd have given him props. but that's IF. And it's not reving THAT fast. Sounds like the 300 hp range at BEST probly close to low 200s. A stock B16 will rev that fast. I wonder what tranny he had. I personally Don't see the point. It didn't look like a show car, so WOW factor doesn't seem to be the reason, and there's no other reason I can think of. There's plenty of room in the engine bay and it's safer, quieter, produces more HP, and doesn't heat up your cabin. Oh wait, that's it. His heater is broken so he moved is turbo to the back to keep warm at night.
Bartman
I don't know about that Integra, but remote mount turbo's sound interesting. Don't know if it's a good solution...but it's still interesting to read about it. Here's a forum that talks about taking a Camaro SS from 269 rwhp to 406 rwhp. http://www.viperalley.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=464283&Main=463702 Here's a link to the STS web site where they talk about advantages of remote mounted turbo's. http://www.ststurbo.com/benefits
Some-Guy
the setup was so shitty looking it was unreal and i be there is major lag with that the second link of that little white thing rocking around the track was wicked tho!
Gollum
pAAleeze. This setup can't even compareto a STS system, so please don't bring them into this. This looked like a garage job from and ape with tools. "Yea, i'm gonna put a turbo right next to my head."
