Here comes trouble Posted March 17, 2006 Share Posted March 17, 2006 I have bought tools at garage sales that I still do not know what they are for but provide wonderment and entertainment for me. Just watching that vaccum gauge needle pulsating going up and down must be a comfort and worth the expense...great vaccum readings....you need a liquid filled fuel pressure gauge, compass and mirror mounted level. That explains why it swings wildly between full-throttle blips going uphill, and shifting into neutral. It’s so annoying on my 1992 325 that seriously considering masking it with tape. It’s so annoying on my 1992 325 that seriously considering masking it with tape. yea mine did that too. i thought it was attached to the throttle somehow because any slight movment of the gas peddle would send it up or down. i tried going by it and adjusting my foot to get it near 30mpg and got 28. i was pretty suprised to get 28mpg from a bimmer with 300,000 miles.
