mull
Since I'm swedish, I'm accustomed to metric units. Autometer hates metric for some reason, and only have 3 series of metric gauges available. Fine by be - only, I can't find the ones I want in 2 5/8". I'm looking for these gauges: • Fuel level • Fuel press - bar • Oil temp - celsius • Oil press - bar • Water temp - celsius • Boost - bar I've managed to find most of them in 2 1/16: For example: ATM-4327-M, ATM-4337M. To get to the point: 1) Does anyone have the part no's for white face metric 2 5/8" autometer gauges? Are there any? 2) Does anyone have a picture of 2 1/16" gauges installed in a 240z? It probably wouldn't be too much of a problem to fit 2 1/16" in the dash since I'm getting it custom made from carbon fiber, but I'd like to have a look first to see if it just looks crappy : ) What do you guys think? mull
Is NOONE using 2 1/16" gauges? Darn :C
Lunar240z
You might be able to try a japanese guage company like omori for metric guages, if your heart is not set on autometers. I don't think anyone uses 2 1/16 guages in z's.
240hoke
Try DEFI, I think they might be able to help you. Besides you need full digital gauges and a heads up display for your car anyway

mull
280ZForce: Thanks man! That gauge looks a wee bit small though ... Darn. Ah well, I guess I have just about two options. Either I get used to imperial scale, or - I learn to live with gauges that are somewhat smaller than the dash was designed for. Do you have any more pics of your setup? Oh, and PS: Sweden rocks! Z-Gad
Unless you are just dead set on the 2 1/16 gauges, most everyone here uses the 2 5/8 gauges, as they fit perfectly in the factory locations... Mike

Read the first post thouroughly : ) I WANT 2 5/8" - but Autometer lack metric gauges of that size, that I know of anyway. This is why I'm asking for pictures of 2 1/16" - since Autometer have metric gauges of that size.
AK-Z
Have you tried looking at some japanese aftermarket guages. Everything is pretty much metric.
rc's240z
The Autometer white guages are the Phantom series. I dont think you are going to find the guages from Autometer that you are looking for, but this is what they look like in 5" and 2 5/8" http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/data/500/932Fiberglass_dash_photo.jpg

I managed to get my old noodle working' date=' and I figured I might as well go with 2 5/8" gauges in the dash - [b']Boost[/b] - Amp (or Volt) and Fuel Level. Gauges that don't "have to" be in metric scale. I Think I can adapt to PSI for boost instead of BAR if I absolutley have to. Then there's always the possibility of fitting a logger of some kind somewhere in the center to obtain other data, like oil press/oil temp/ water temp/etc, etc : )
