LS1 240Z
jerks. for months i was searching for a 16x8 wheel to go on these cars. granted that this is a 16x7.. i still probably would have bought some over my 15x7s.. they should make a 16x8, its a very common tire size, seeing as it was on third gen and 4th gen camaros both.. oh well, ill just have to deal with my gold 15x7 rewinds i guess
mamba_888
Alloy wheels can be widen. I know someone who does it to a Saab wheel. He TIG welds back together. My comment to him was could they break? He responded. "No way" Heres the site http://www.vikingwheel.com/ Since I live in Stockton, CA, I contacted Stockton wheel and they said they cannot widen alloy wheels. rztmartini
shipping might be rough, but check out Weldcraft Wheels. thats where i asked around and widening wasnt that unreasonable, IF you HAD to have the rewinds in 8" wide... joe d.
ok. everyone start looking for a computer drawing of the wheel in question. I talked to my mill guy and he said he cannot make a wheel wider because of liability reasons. however he can mill out a complete wheel. but to get a quote he needs a drawing. as soon as i get the quote back i can post it so everyone knows the cost.
