Chewievette
Could import I one of those from Canada to the US? Would it be easier than importing direct from Japan to US?

hotimport
There are some great fairladys for sale http://www.terra2imports.ca/ It dosent matter where you will be importing this car to. In US here we have a law about importing grey market car, it has to be atleast 25 year old to be approved by customs to releast it in to youre possesion. In Canada they have a 15 year law on bringing gray market cars. So Canada is more felxible on registration. As for pricing from terra2imports.ca i think there a bit over priced but there is allways premium on these type of car being imported here and specially FairladyZ and KGC10 Hakosukas. There is a bunch of other imports that might do it cheaper by allitle bit. As for bringing the car to Canada and then to US it dosent make a diffrence if the car is 25 years or older. 240ZR
Never mind these people know NOTHING..... http://www.terra2imports.ca/faq/entry/5/25/?PHPSESSID=c165cc7205f62cbad86a79ebb19f0768 Take Nissan vehicles for Example, Nissan is a smart company, they rarely make specific parts for one vehicle only, they would prefer to mass produce those parts and use them on as many vehicles as possible to keep costs down and parts availability high. Most Cars we import have similar if not exact counterparts in our market (ie Fairlady/300ZX, Silvia/240SX, Celicas, etc) Some cars such as Skylines that were never offered in Canada do have parts that are harder to find, but there are multiple shops stocking replacement parts for these cars as there is now such a demand for them. Since WHEN did Nissan make a Celica!?!?!?!?!?
