well thought i had exhaust leak looek what i found . .

well thought i had a leak look what i found this morning, i have no idea what it is but i knwo tis broke clean in two. Its under the egr valve , coming out of exhaust manifold? Dont knwo what it is lol some one help ! :mrgreen:

That looks like a crack in your block? but its hard to tell from that pic. And the other thing I think is a cruse control, or a engine warm up vacuum activated arm to give the motor a little bit of throttle when cold, I thought that was only on motors with carbs? What year motor is that?

Photos #1 and #2 are too dark for me to see anything. Lemme go photoshop them.

 

OK EDIT: MAKE sure it's the EGR feed and NOT the steering rod I am looking at!!! Whatever it is, it's cracked.

 

 

Photo #3 is the Air Conditioning idle kickup. It should engage when you engage the A/C compressor.

Its definently Broke in two not cracke, and should i jsut take it off ? no emissions. . as far i know 78 stock na motor.
