Guest greimann
Shoot them with a good dose of "PB Blaster" penetraing oil. Better than WD-40 or any other. This stuff smells pretty strong, but has a rust busting action like no other penetrating oil.
Tim240z
Try tapping on them with a wrench. As hard as possible without damaging it. Sometimes this breaks the treads loose. If all else fails, take the fittings off down stream if those are easier then take the tubes off the master with it out of the car where yo can get to things easier. Dave
I just went through the same thing. I found that a pair of the small Robo Grips was the perfect tool for the job. Dave....

Mike kZ
Don't use a regular wrench. Use a brake wrench made for the job!
Guest Anonymous
Mikes right, use a Flarenut (looks like a box end except with a split in it for the pipe to fit through) wrench on those fittings or they stand a good chance of being rounded off if and when you get them off of there. Good luck, Lone
Mike C
Use a flare nut wrench AND a pair of vise grips. Put the flare nut wrench on and then clamp the vise grips to squeeze the wrench jaws in and preload them. Then you can put the WHAMMY on it withoug rounding off the fitting. Even with flare nut wrenches it's possible to round off the fittings. Vise grips work as well but make a mess of the fitting unless you just clamp the you-know-what out of it with a pair with flat jams that won't bite the fitting too hard. Be careful, If it is all bound up I have seen the steel line twist when the fitting turns.
fl327
thanx guys, i used a combo of all the responses to get it out. i pb blasted the crap out of it and hit it a few times with a socket wrench,m let it sit for a few hours while i ran my errands, then used robo grip plyers to crack that sucker off, didnt check the site out in time to use the flare and vise combo, but luckily didnt round off the nut, which is really easy to do even with the right wrenches. thanx yall.
